Sports / Deep tissue/ Remedial Massage

Sports Massage is a deep tissue massage for the manipulation of the soft tissue around the body using various massage techniques.

Sports massage can be broken down into three main areas.

Pre-Event This is where the muscles are warmed up which increases blood flow and “fires” up the muscles, this also helps to prevent injuries.

Post -Event This is the direct opposite to Pre-Event this is where the muscles are relaxed, this also assists in the removal of lactic acid build up from muscles that have been worked hard.

Maintenance

This is the most common form of Sports massage and used to maintain the muscles or treat injuries or ailments.
